Chua Sio Lek coming to Penang !
Well , MCA supermo will be coming to Penang ,outwardly as PPC Chairman but the real motive is to spearhead MCA in the next coming GE. But i would like to remind the box-record CD actor that in politics , a lone ranger can't turn the tide , especially the lone ranger has a proven role in an immoral sex CD scandal . Pakatan is very ready for for him . Come to Penang , Chua , and we will tell all and SHOW ALL !

Ex-Umno crooks causing troubles again
The recent outburst by Zain is typical of UMNOTRANS who just can't flow with the spirit of Pakatan rakyat .Once they can't get what they want , their tails will slip out . U name it , Zahrin , Dzuklifli nad now Zain.Once UMNO forever Umno. I pray and appeal to PKR ; pls do not blindly accept BN's spill overs . Doesn't PKR has enough of the damages that these oppotunists are causing ? for the sake on the stability of Pakatan Rakyat , especially with the coming GE , tolonghlah , tapis-tapis betul-betul be4 accepting them.

Malaysian-first ,race second ?
The debacle of choosing either as Malaysian-first or ethnic-first as
one's identity among our national leaders is indeed a sad reflection
of the state of ethnic unity in our country. After 53 years of
independence , we are still struggling to ascertain our basic identity
as a citizen . The One Malaysia ideal is far from our grasp. The recent
outburst of racist remarks and the retaliations thereof do not speak
well of Malaysia as far as ethnic accommodation and co-existence are
concerned.Malaysians need to discard ethnocentrism which will only
breed cultural superiority and racial prejudice. The One Malaysia
concept should not remain as mere rhetoric . Mutual respect by each
and every ethnic essential . We should not allow a handful of ultras
to erode the mutual trust and respect that have been established among
the various races in Malaysia.Being different in sociocultural values
does not mean there must be confrontations and conflicts. The
principle of Unity in Diversity is achievable if Malaysians learn to
perceive national issues from a more open-minded and universal
perspective. In short , let each and every Malaysian regards our ethnic
diversities as a cultural heritage than seeing it as a liability .

Life or lantern ?
There is one leg-amputated Indian man who had a stroke after his wife died in 2005.He stays alone in the much-marginalized estate of Ladang Caledonia in Nibong Tebal . After seeing his predicament and agony , I contacted a reporter from an English dailyon 23 Sept to highlight his plight. The reporter came , got the details , and took not less then 10 photos It is the 5th day now but nothing came out .Instead of the plight of Mr. Vellu , the daily chose to highlight a lantern parade led by a MCA Wanita's chief in the same town of Nibong Tebal !My heart sank ...Mr.Vellu is still suffering in his hut in the Indian estate !Lantern triumphs over a agonized man !

Are we more united than in 1963?
As our nation celebrated its 47th year of formation on 16 September 2010 , our nation needs to honestly re-examine the condition of ethnic relationship in Malaysia.National unity can only be achieved if the different ethnics in Malaysia learn to understand , appreciate and accept each other. Are we more united now compared with 47 years ago ? Do we see ourselves first as Malaysians rather then seeing ourselves purely based on racial line ?Are we confronting national issues merely on racial perspective ? These are the questions that we Malaysians need to sincerely ask ourselves .Our ethnic diversities should not be allowed to divide us . Unity in diversity should instead be our goal and aspiration !There are many common and universal values that are profound in our respective culture that can bind us together as Malaysians.Let us discard all forms of ethnic-centrism and racial prejudice.Ethnic superiority will only breed racial tension and pride. Instead , let all Malaysians cherish our diverse cultural heritage and learn to respect each other's ethnicity for a true united Malaysia can only be achieved through mutual respect , tolerance and accommodation !

DAP gesa polis siasat ancaman bunuh

A nation without conscience ?
The recent spate of baby-dumping reveals a stark cruelty in the hearts of some Malaysians. After 53 years of independence from the so-called immoral westerners , we are faced with an inhuman society that is supposed to be more compassionate .What have gone wrong with Malaysians ?
First and foremost , the onslaught of materialism and modernization on Malaysian society is showing its ugly symptoms.Negative values such as hedonism and fornication have eroded our societal moral and spiritual foundation.Consequently , new born babies are no longer perceived as gifts from God .
Our educational system pays too much emphasis on mere academic achievement. Subjects like religion , moral education or Civics are often used to teach examination subjects . Schools are evaluated mainly on how many As have been scored by the students .In short , our system produces learned humans but not morally-upright beings !
Equally neglected is our family system.Gone are the days when family members have their meals together. Now each goes their own ways and in over-urbanized cities , homes have become houses , families become motels !
Thus , our educational system needs a comprehensive overhaul . Moral and spiritual values must not be neglected. What is the point of becoming an developed nation when Malaysians can't even treasure or appreciate their own flesh and blood ?In our quest to be an advanced country by the year 2020 ,let us ensure that our beloved country still remains as masyarakat penyayang or loving society for indeed a nation without a conscience is just like a body without a soul !
